CMJ MUSIC FILMFEST AWARD:
The New York City premiere at CMJ’s FilmFest sold out this past Saturday at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater in the East Village. We’re honored to announce that Amazing Grace: Jeff Buckley was chosen as the recipient of CMJ’s Signature Award given to independent filmmakers who demonstrate the “best use of music in film.” Thank you CMJ!

CANADIAN PREMIERE:
We’re excited to finally announce the Canadian premiere of Amazing Grace: Jeff Buckley. Sony Music will be hosting a screening of the doc in celebration of the release of teh 10th Anniversary Legacy Edition of Grace. The screening will be held at 9:30 pm at the Bloor Cinema on Nov., 17 in Toronto. A non-perishable food item for the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank will act as a admission. Further details will be made available on Sony Canada’s website.

Tickets are now available at the Leeds Film Festival website for screenings of Amazing Grace: Jeff Buckley on Saturday Oct. 30th at 3:15pm (The Hi Fi Club) and Saturday Nov. 6th at 5:00pm (the Hi Fi Club.)

WOODSTOCK FILM FESTIVAL:
Our two sold-out screenings at the Woodstock Film Festival were a great success. A huge thank you to Mary Guibert, Jeff Buckley’s mother, for coming all the way out to Woodstock to support the documentary. We’d also like to thank Karl Berger for two lovely introductions (Karl arranged strings on Jeff’s album, Grace), and many thanks to the tireless staff and volunteers at WFF. We highly recommend this independent film festival to anybody who’s passionate about indie filmmaking.
